Advocate (for those wishing to donate any amount)
Your generous support helps MentorNet deliver the highest quality mentor-protégé experience possible and gives members of underrepresented groups the opportunity to pursue their technical career goals.
"MentorNet brings value to corporations on multiple dimensions. It provides an exceptionally cost-effective way for employees to engage in the attraction and retention of women and others underrepresented in the science and engineering disciplines at the collegiate level. Mentees benefit from penalty-free advice from those who have gone before them, while their mentors benefit from the opportunity to engage in developing the technical talent pipeline so critical to their company's future. MentorNet has become one of the cornerstones of IBM's Women in Technology and multicultural outreach programs."
Margaret Ashida, Director, Global University Talent Programs, IBM

*A note about Priority in Matching: We encourage volunteer mentors in industry to sign up with MentorNet and welcome mentors both from sponsoring companies (at the levels listed above) as well as from non-sponsoring companies. We do our best to match as many mentors with protégés as possible each year. The best chance for a match, however, is when the mentor's company is a contributing sponsor. Depending on the level of partnership, we do our best to give top visibility to all mentors from these organizations before suggesting mentors outside of our community of sponsors.
