January 27: Launching MentorNet Steps for Change Campaign!

MentorNet is pleased to announce the January 27 launch of our 2009 Spring outreach drive: Steps for Change. This campaign is targeted to end on March 18th, the day of the first walk in space. To honor this achievement, the "Steps for Change" campaign will feature the tag-line: One small step for you; One giant leap for the future.

During this time, we aim to encourage our partners and sponsors to work with us to engage 500 new participants during the 50 days of the drive. Partners should stay tuned and watch for messages describing the campaign and our innovative incentive program for partners to collaborate with us on outreach efforts and participation.

We've added some incentives for the university and professional society partners as a feature to the recruitment campaign. During the 50 day campaign, for each new protégé or mentor who participates in MentorNet's One-on-One E-Mentoring program, there will be a $10 reduction in the new renewal membership fee until we reach our goal of 500 new participants. In addition, the top campus recruiter during the 50 days will receive a 20% reduction in their next renewal fee and the second place finisher will see a 10% reduction. Detailed information on the incentives and and program rules will be sent to reps soon.

We hope you'll participate by signing up as a mentor or protégé, and encouraging your friends and colleagues to do the same.
